"Your secure link has expired": get a new link

Your link has run out, and you can email yourself a new one from the same page. Campaign links work for 48 hours after they're sent, to keep your campaign safe if an email is forwarded or left open. Nothing about your campaign changes when a link expires.

  1. Open the link from your email. The page says Your secure link has expired.
  2. Select Send me a new link (marker 1). The page changes to New link sent: "A new link has been sent to your email."
  3. Open the new email. It comes from VPA Connect with the subject VPA Connect: Your new secure link and your property address.
  4. Select Open my campaign in the email. Your campaign page opens, and the new link works for another 48 hours.

The new link goes to the email address your agent entered for you, which may not be the address you're reading this on. If it doesn't arrive, check your junk or spam folder, then ask your agent which address they used.

If the page says "Check your inbox"

A new link was already emailed to you recently. VPA Connect sends one new link every 48 hours. Search your inbox and spam folder for "VPA Connect". If you can't find it, ask your agent to select Copy Seller Campaign Link and send the copied link to you directly.

If the page says "This page could not be found"

The link is incomplete. A campaign link is long, and it stops working if part of it is cut off, for example when it's copied by hand or wraps across two lines in an email. Open the email again and select the button in it rather than copying the address. If someone forwarded the link to you, ask your agent to send it to you directly.

This message can appear when you approve or reject a change and part of the link has been lost from the page address. Open the link from your email again and try once more.

Common questions

Why did my link stop working? Every link works for 48 hours from when it's sent. Approval requests can arrive days or weeks after your first email, so it's normal for an older link to have expired. Use the newest email, or request a new link.

How long does a new link last? 48 hours from when it's sent.

Can I keep using an old link after a new one is sent? Yes, until it expires. Every unexpired link opens the same page, and the page always shows your campaign as it is now.
