You can send a new request. The agency didn't pay that request, and the money is still held for your job.

The job's status in your list changes to Rejected. Open the job:

  1. The rejected request shows Rejected in the job's Payment history, with the agency's reason under it.
  2. Submit payment request works again, so you can send a corrected request (see Submit a payment request).
  3. The caption under it says your last request was rejected.

You're also emailed the agency's reason. Fix what it asks for, for example the amount or whether it should be a partial payment, then send a new request. When you do, the job goes back to Sent.

If part of the job has already been paid, the job keeps its Partially paid status after a rejection; the reason still shows in Payment history.

A job disappeared from my list

The agency has either cancelled it or given it to another supplier.

  • Cancelled. The agency cancelled the job and the seller's money for it went back to the campaign. You're emailed, and the job no longer appears on your Outstanding or Completed page.
  • Swapped to another supplier. The agency replaced you on the job, and the seller approved the change. You're emailed when the swap is accepted. While the seller is deciding, the job shows Awaiting seller payment and you can't request payment for it.

Will I be paid for work I've already done?

VPA Connect has no way to pay you for a job once it's cancelled or swapped, and anything you were already paid stays yours. For work done but not paid, talk to the agent or agency straight away; it's between you and them.

Request payment as you go. On a long job, a partial payment for each stage you finish protects you if the job is cancelled later.

A job moved to Completed as Closed

The agency finished the job for less than its budget. You keep everything already paid, and the rest went back to the campaign. You're emailed when this happens. If you expected more, contact the agent.
